What's wardrobe color analysis and how it works?

Have you ever worn a color and suddenly felt brighter, fresher, more “alive”? And other days… something just feels off? That’s not in your head — that’s color analysis.

There are three things that shape how colors react on you:

1. Undertone

This is the natural warmth or coolness of your skin. Some of us glow in warm shades like olive, camel, and cream. Others shine in cool tones like gray, navy, and soft pink. When your colors match your undertone, your skin looks clearer and more even — without makeup doing all the work.

2. Depth

Depth is how light or deep your features are. Some sisters look best in soft, light colors, while others need richer, deeper shades to truly pop.

3. Contrast

Contrast is the difference between your skin, hair, and eyes. High-contrast faces handle bold combinations beautifully. Low-contrast faces glow in softer, blended palettes.

When your colors are right, your hijab, your outfits, and you all feel more balanced.

Very recently I did a color analysis on one of my customer. One of the most interesting moments was seeing how all blues didn't worked for her, even though blue is often considered a “safe” color. Peachy tones, on the other hand, completely lit up her complexion. We also noticed that for most colors, medium-intensity shades suited her best. When we compared the results to the seasonal charts, she aligned most closely with Soft Autumn— even though she initially thought she was a Spring.

Color analysis isn’t about strict rules, and you can always wear any color you love. But knowing which shades naturally enhance you makes getting dressed easier and helps you feel more confident in your choices.
